Hii All…
How are you all doing…
Sorry for being away since last few days… but I’M back now
and I have many new posts lined up for you guys…
As this is my 1st post of 2017, it had to be
something related to my best memories of 2016. So I decided to post my Goa
travel blog as GOA trip was the most awaited thing that happened to me in 2016.
GOA Diaries |
GOA has always been my dream destination. I had been
planning for a GOA trip since 1st year of my college which was way
back in 2011. Finally, my plans got executed in 2016 Dec when my friends agreed
for a trip at last.
So as this was a much
awaited trip for me, I was super excited and all planning started 1 month
before.
From booking travel tickets to hotel bookings, everything
was done in advance.
Then the D day arrived. We had booked AC Sleeper bus for
travelling from Bangalore to goa. We boarded our bus at 7.30 pm. Bus was well
maintained, so the journey became easy for us.
We reached GOA at 8 in the morning, took a taxi and headed
towards our hotel.
Our hotel was situated in Calangute area which is a main
area of Goa. Hotel was very neat and clean and well maintained. All the
required facilities were available. We had booked hotel through Stayzilla.
Now started the exciting part, which was nothing but
exploring and hitting Goa.
So our 1st destination was Calangute beach, which
Is one of the most popular beach of Goa. This beach was highly crowded. There
were so many shacks where some people were resting and some were enjoying
meals. This beach had many options of water sports. We took a boat ride which
was very exciting.
Shacks and Crowd In Calangute Beach |
Next we went to Baga beach, which is just next to Calangute.
This was almost similar to Calangute beach. All the attractions were same. So
after staying there for some time, we returned back to hotel.
We rested for some time as we were all tired after bus
journey. Then in evening we went to The Saturday night market which is situated
in Arpora. We did some shopping there as some things were available in cheap
prices but you need to bargain a lot else they will loot you.
Night Life In Baga Beach |
Then, we returned back to Calangute and went to beach shacks
for dinner. That was the most special moment. Sitting right in front of beach,
having candle light dinner and beach waves touching your legs. You can imagine
how exciting it would have been.
And just for your information, shacks are not very costly.
They have normal price range.
Our Day 2 started with Chapora fort. Trust me, it is a very
beautiful place. Standing on top of the hills with beaches all around felt so
good.

We spent some time there, then we went to Vagator beach.
This was a beautiful beach with less crowd and photogenic spots.

We stayed there for quite some time, then returned back to
hotel. Evening we went to Basilica of Bom Jesus church where mortal remains of Father
St. Francis Xavier is kept.
Basilica Of Bom Jesus |
It is a very religious place which is very quiet
and peaceful amidst of Goa pump and show. This spot ended our Day 2. We
returned back to hotel, had dinner and slept.
3rd day started with Anjuna beach. I loved this
beach too as it was also a less crowded and clean beach. I could mostly find
foreigners here who were busy taking sun bath.

We spent some time there then we went to Ozran beach. It was a very serene beach. Not very much crowded, neat and clean and beach with some photogenic spots.

We spent some time there, then we came back to Baga beach. We had our lunch in shacks. Then we went to Candolim Beach. This was similar to Calangute with similar shacks and water sports.
Animals Relaxing in beach |
As this was our last spot, we had full on fun in water and
returned back to hotel. Got freshen up and left for panaji from where we had
our return bus from Goa to Bangalore.
And this ended our super exciting, fun filled 3 days’ trip
to Goa, which will always remain memorable.
Do let me know if you guys liked my experience. Also I am
always there for any Goa related queries.
If you need any detailed information,
do let me know, I will be happy to help you guys with it.
