Meet Nd Greet With RCB

Hi Guys… Hope you all are doing great…

Today’s post is about my Meet and Greet with RCB players. Yes that’s true… I got this one time opportunity to meet and greet with RCB players.

Most of you know about this, some don’t know, so I thought of writing and sharing my experience with you guys.  

It was a Meet and greet program organized by Tata Zest in Taj Westend, Bangalore. Tata Zest are the official partners of IPL this season. They invited some of their customers, some of their workers and some contest winners. I got a chance to visit this as I was one of the contest winner.  

Tata zest organized a contest in Facebook as well as twitter. Our task was that we had to suggest good destinations to RCB players where they can zest up their life according to their likes. There were 4 winners in total, 2 from each platform. I tried my best in both the platforms and got rewarded as one of the lucky winner.

So, the meet and greet was planned on 19^th May, 2016. I was super duper excited for it, as I am a big Virat fan and I was so eagerly waiting to have a glance on him. So I took a half day leave from office, came back, got ready and left for my destination along with one of my friend, as we were allowed to get one person with us.

We reached there on time, grabbed our seat and sat anxiously waiting for the program to start. Stage was set and chairs were kept for all the players. We were around 100 people all tuned to see what happens next.

Program started with our host “Danish Seth” addressing the crowd. He mentioned that players will be coming in another 1 hour so before that he arranged some activities for us. Also some amazing drinks and starters were served for us.

Almost after an hour, Virat, ABD, Gayle and Watson entered. I was not able to believe on my eyes that these 4 champions were sitting just in front of me. It was like a dream come true moment for me. I was so so happy to be there.

So the program started with a ques/ans round, where we fans got a chance to ask ques to our fav players. Then we had a spin the wheel round, where player spinned the wheel and performed the task as per the content written on it. After that we had a group photo session, where two tables together got a chance to click a pic with the starts at a time. That was the best part of the session. My my turn came, I ran and stood just behind virat, I was literally shivering as I was standing virat, too close to him, I felt like my life is made with this 1min action that just happened.

After this, players took an exit and we proceeded towards the hall, where dinner was organized for us. Delicious foods, drinks and desserts, all were there.

Lastly we got a goodie bag which consisted of a RCB t-shirt, a cap, bag and a key chain. Also we got our group pics that were clicked during the session, framed in a tata zest frame.

Overall I can say, that it was the bestest day of my life which I will never ever forget.

Appreciation Blog

How are you all…hope everyone is doing well?

I am back today after a long time, as I was busy in some family matters. Many posts are lined up and will be up soon one by one…

For today, I haven’t got any beauty product review, or giveaway or haul or anything as such. It’s a very different kind of post where I just want to appreciate a guy for his kindness and love.

His name is Rehman and he works as a waiter in Barbeque Nation, JP Nagar, Bangalore.

We all know about Barbeque nation, it is a chain restaurant in India which has got the concept of live grill. They have grills setup in each table and waiters get almost 80% cooked foods and serve it in the grill, where we are supposed to cook it 100% and eat. Along with this, they also serve many different types of starters for both veg and non-veg.

 When I first time went to this place, Rehman was the in-charge of my table. He was so polite and humble. He served us many different variety of foods. Also he asked us what do we like, and then brought some extra dishes according to our likes.

Since then. Whenever I go to this place, I always prefer that a I get a table where he is the in-charge.  I would like to share some of my incidents here.

It was 27^th Dec, Salman Khan’s b.day. I am a die-hard fan of salman. When he got to know about this, he got me a cake, they sang b.day song, he clicked our pic and got it framed and gifted us. My day was made with this special gesture of him.

I remember one more incident, BBQ has a concept of live grill, where they keep changing the menu. I just love the pasta counter there. One day when I visited this place, instead of pasta, chat counter was there. So I asked Rehman that why is pasta not available today. He said he will check. Even though pasta was not on menu that day, even raw pasta was not available in the kitchen, he went out, bought pasta, came back, cooked and served it for me. This clearly shows how much he care for his customers.

Also when I went there last week, he was so happy seeing us. Even though we were not sitting in his table, he still was there with us and got us served all our fav dishes. He also got us a cake which said “you all so sweet”. I was so touched with this hospitality that then and there I decided that I will do blog-post for him.

If anyone of u, my readers, live in Bangalore and visit this place in JP nagar outlet. Please do ask about him. He will surely make your day special.

Weekend Gateway To Pondicherry (Puducherry)

Hope you all are doing well.

Sorry for being away since last so many days. The reason I was away was that I was on a trip to Pondicherry and after returning from there had so many pending works that it took long time to recover from that.

So today instead of doing a review or haul video, I thought of sharing my Pondicherry experience with you guys, so that it can be useful to you guys who are planning to visit there anytime soon.

Hope you guys will like it. So let’s start.

It was Thursday evening that we all friends decided to visit Pondicherry for weekend. Since Friday was a working day we had very little amount to prepare well. Still we tried our best and we were all set to leave for Pondicherry by Friday evening.

We had out train from YPR railway station, Bangalore around 9’o clock and we reached Pondicherry around 7’o clock in the morning.

After reaching their first thing that we did was searching for a hotel. We were lucky enough to get a good hotel nearby railway station. So without wasting time, we checked in the hotel, got freshen up and left for our first spot, i.e- Paradise Beach.

Paradise beach is the most beautiful beach of Pondicherry. To reach there we took a boat from its backwaters. It costed us around 200rs per person. It took around 15-20 mins to reach paradise beach. 

It is a beautiful beach with good services, like changing rooms,, washrooms,, restaurants etc. You also have lots of water activity options there like banana rides etc.

We stayed there for 4-5 hours, had super fun in the sea, had our lunch and returned from there back to our hotel. After reaching our respective rooms, we got freshen up and took rest for some time. Then we got ready and left for our 2^nd spot, i.e- Rock Beach.

Rock beach is just like marina beach in Mumbai, where you have big rocks beside the sea and you can sit there and have a peaceful time. There you can also enjoy street food and street shopping. We stayed there for like 3-4 hours. Did some shopping, ate street foods which was enough for dinner. And then we returned back to our hotel. After having some chatting and UNO sessions we slept.

Next day, after our breakfast we left for our 3^rd spot, i.e- Auro Beach.

Auro Beach is an open beach which is free for all. This is also a very beautiful beach where the waves are very high. You don’t have any eateries here. Nearby there is a hotel, where you have an option to pay and use washrooms for changing or bathing.

We stayed in this beach for around 3-4 hours. After that we all went to that nearby hotel, got freshen up and then left for our hotel. On the way we had our lunch in a restaurant near to Auro beach.

After that we went for shopping. There was a street which had many roadside sellers selling different types of outfits for womens. They had huge collection and in very cheap price. We luved shopping from there.  That was out last spot. After that we packed our bags and left for station. We had our train around 8’o clock which brought us back to Bangalore around 5’30 AM.

That was all about my trip to Pondicherry. It was an amazing trip where we had superb fun and enjoyed a lot.

Coming to some of the cons of this trip:

      

      1)      The worst thing about this trip was that we all are badly affected by sun tanning. Since its very hot there and both days we were wearing shorts in beach, our whole body has got tanned.

      2)      It’s too hot and humid there, so this was not the right time to go there.

      3)      If you don’t like eating south indian foods, eating can be tough there.

Other than this, it was a superb trip which I will always cherish forever.
